How we verify game information
Evidence classes
- Official — a first-party statement, dated and scoped to platform and patch.
- Multi-source visual — two independent current-build observations.
- Multi-source text — two independent textual sources.
- Community report — a lead, never official status.
- User-entered — site-native state that lives on your device.
- Editorial — recommendation rationale, never presented as fact.
The four states
Every patch-sensitive claim carries one of four states: Verified, Stale, Conflicting reports, or Not yet verified. Unknown is never rendered as zero, "none", or confident prose — when we don't know, the page says so in words.
Patch policy
Historical patches keep stable URLs and their own pages; they are never folded into the newest version. A new patch marks affected fields as stale or needing re-verification — it never fabricates a new value. No page on this site claims a "current patch" unless an official, dated source confirms it for a specific platform.
Corrections
Corrections create new revisions with history preserved. Unresolved disagreement between credible sources becomes Conflicting reports — never a silent overwrite.
Completeness limits
Lists publish only with explicit completeness evidence. Otherwise counts say exactly how many items are verified, and the page discloses that the full set is unconfirmed.
